Terms of use and sale

Using the site means accepting these terms in their current version. Joining the Smart Club means accepting all of these terms, which can be read at any time from the site footer.

Every day, getSmartBet publishes predictions for matches in the major leagues, European cups and international football: win, draw and loss probabilities computed by a statistical model, the most likely score, a comparison with market odds and the community vote.

Data is updated once a day, overnight (Paris time). The site shows no live scores.

Some predictions are free to view: each day, the headline match of every competition and about a quarter of the other fixtures. The rest is reserved for Smart Club members.

The publisher may change the service, including the list of competitions covered. Any change that would substantially reduce what the Smart Club includes is announced to members, who may then cancel at no cost.

The service is intended for adults. Creating an account or joining the Smart Club is restricted to people aged 18 or over, or the age of majority in their country if higher.

It is up to each user to check that sports betting is legal where they are and to bet only with authorised operators.

Accounts are created and accessed with an email address: a one-time code is sent to it at each sign-in, with no password. You are responsible for access to that inbox and for what is done from your account, which is strictly personal.

Your account lets you record score predictions, pick up to three favourite teams and manage your membership. Your predictions are never published individually: only anonymous totals feed the community vote.

You can change your email address or delete your account at any time from My account. Deletion is permanent; it cancels any current membership immediately, with no refund for the period already started.

You may not:

• extract the site's content by automated means (bots, scraping) or redistribute it, in particular the predictions reserved for members;
• share your account or resell access to the Smart Club;
• circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, access restrictions and security measures;
• use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that disrupts its operation.

A breach may lead to suspension or deletion of the account, after a formal notice that goes unheeded, except in serious cases. A membership ended on these grounds gives no right to a refund of the current period.

Predictions are statistical estimates. Models get it wrong, getSmartBet's included: its verdict, right or wrong, stays on every finished match. No prediction guarantees winnings.

The site's content is for information. It is neither betting advice nor an encouragement to gamble: you alone decide on your bets and how much to stake. Never stake more than you can afford to lose.

The Smart Club is a monthly membership with no commitment that unlocks every prediction and all the site's advanced data: probabilities, most likely score, model confidence, xG, Elo, market edge, value bets and the full ticket of the day. Members get the same content at every price tier.

Its price goes down the longer you stay:

• month 1, at the entry price;
• month 2, at a lower price;
• from month 3, at the floor price, with no time limit.

The reductions are automatic. Cancelling resets your tenure: a new membership starts again at the entry price.

The amount of each tier is shown, including all taxes, on the Membership page before any payment. It is charged in the currency of your country (euro, US dollar, pound sterling or Swiss franc), which is set automatically and can no longer change once a first payment has been made.

The publisher may change its prices. Any change affecting current members is announced by email at least 30 days in advance; they may cancel before it applies.

You join from the Membership page while signed in. Payment is processed by Stripe: card details are entered in a form provided by Stripe, never pass through getSmartBet's servers and are not stored by the publisher.

The first month is paid when you join, and access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. Following months are charged automatically, on the same date, to the saved payment method. Invoices are available from My account.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. Access to members-only content is suspended until the payment goes through, and the membership ends if it does not.

The membership runs for one month and renews automatically every month until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time, in one click, from My account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid: access stays open until then, no further payment is taken, and the current month is not refunded pro rata.

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from joining to withdraw, without giving any reason (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

To do so, send us a clear statement before that period ends through the contact form (subject “Withdrawal”), giving the email address of your account, or by post to the registered office given in the legal notice. You may use the model form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

A request sent through the contact form is acknowledged by email without delay.

We refund everything you have paid no later than 14 days after receiving your request, using the payment method used when you joined, and the membership ends.

The publisher is bound by an obligation of means. It strives to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee it: maintenance, a provider outage or an unavailable data source may interrupt or delay the publication of predictions.

The publisher is not liable for losses on bets you place, which are your decision alone. Nothing in these terms excludes its liability where the law does not allow it.

The site's predictions and content are for personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing or redistributing them, in particular the predictions reserved for members, is prohibited without written permission. Details are in the legal notice.

The data collected to run your account and membership, who receives it, how long it is kept and your rights are described in the privacy policy. The cookies used are listed in the cookie policy.

These terms may change; the applicable version is the one online on the day you use the site. Members are told of any substantial change by email at least 30 days before it takes effect; a member who does not accept it may cancel before that date.

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable solution, disputes are brought before the competent courts; a consumer may choose the court of the place where they lived when the contract was made or where the harmful event occurred (Article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code). A consumer living in another country keeps the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of that country.
